Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi




For the Popsugar challenge this is the book with more than 20 characters in the title.

Unlike the first book in the Orisha series, Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi did not grab me. However, it’s unfair to say that it’s because of the subject matter, but rather because the pandemic has lead to my attention span having a serious deficit. Consequently, it would be inappropriate to rate the book as I had to reread parts on more than one occasion.

I will definitely have to refresh before part three comes out, and I am looking forward to the film. It will be interesting to see how the trilogy is eventually cast. Will they go for unknown Nigerian actors or get a few Hollywood names into the mix?
