Restoring your Intestinal Flora: The Key to Digestive Wellness by Christopher Vasey is a good introduction to those interested in digestive health and the impact digestion may have on your body. However, for those more knowledgeable about this topic, it may fall a bit short.
Due to its title, I was hoping that there would be more guidance on how you could restore your intestinal health, particularly as the book opened up with a test to assess how healthy your gut is. It didn’t continue in that vein and it is somewhat disappointing that it didn’t go into more detail eg recipes for probiotics such as kimchi.
However, one could argue that as it was an introduction, if you were interested in pursuing the restoration of your intestinal health you would read around the topic.
